Since our inception, Brainstorm Video Inc has maintained that every piece of media should be treated like our own. All transfers are performed with the utmost care. We use only professional equipment and do not take shortcuts in our film transfer processes. The 8mm film transfer process does not happen automatically. Our film transfers are professionally monitored, at all times, in order to obtain the best possible result. The transfer operator continually adjusts the light and makes any necessary adjustments rapidly. The process is laborious but makes for the highest quality transfer obtainable.

Put all of your film in sequential order by the date each film was taken, and number each box or reel.

Cost

We believe that every customer should be able to get their film and video transferred to DVD at high quality for a fair price.

• 8mm/Super 8mm @ $0.18 per foot
  
  
• 16mm  @ $0.25 per foot.
  
  
• Mini-dv tape @ $10.00 per tape
  Film is first transferred to mini-dv (digital tape) each tape holds 60min
  
  
• DVD Master @ $20.00 per Master
  The final process is transferring the mini-dv tape to DVD (2 hours)
  
  
• Additional DVD copies @ $5.00 each
  
  *Easily calculate the total number of feet you have by using the reel chart below. Multiply that total number of feet by the price per foot.
  (If your total footage submitted is less than 300 feet, the minimum charge is $75.00).
